Woman owned and operated, Chesapeake Boating Academy was established to empower boaters and promote boating safety and confidence behind the helm. Our mission is to create an inclusive, hands-on learning environment, where regardless of experience, everyone can feel comfortable getting behind the wheel to practice and improve their boat handling skills. Gain real life boating practice with a licensed and trained USCG Captain Instructor. Chesapeake Boating Academy is the official on-the-water training provider of the Bay Bridge Boat Show, located at Safe Harbor Narrows Point, April 17th-19th. Training boats and Instructor Captains will be at the Bay Bridge Boat Show, offering verified 3 hour, hands-on boating courses. The verified curriculum of the NSBC conforms with the American National On-Water Standard, and is available in a series of 3-hr modules. *PLEASE NOTE: There is a three person minimum for courses. If that minimum is not met, you will be contacted to reschedule. A confirmation email will be sent to students upon registering for the course and a text message will be sent a few days before the boat show with details on parking, how to get your free tickets and how to find our dock within the boat show.
